Social Media Panel featuring Adrienne Ivey, View From the Ranch Porch, and Lesley Kelly, High Heels and Canola Fields. Our social media panel will feature two well-known AGvocates speaking to producers on how they can use social media to engage consumers and build consumer trust in the agriculture industry.
Adrienne Ivey was named Saskatchewan’s 2014 Outstanding Young Farmer, along with her husband, Aaron. They operate a cattle ranch in central Saskatchewan. She currently writes a blog, View from the Ranch Porch, where she discusses farming, food, and life, and effectively offers her opinions on issues affecting the agriculture industry as well as advocates for farming, ranching, and agriculture. Adrienne is also very active on twitter, under the handle @adrienneivey.
Lesley is the head and heart behind the blog, High Heels & Canola Fields. She grew up on her family’s grain farm at Watrous, Saskatchewan and after gaining an education in marketing and accounting, went on to work in various branding positions in the ag sector. She isn’t afraid to tackle tough conversations and through storytelling, photography and her love of ag, she’s attracted a loyal fan base in the thousands across the world.
